The president have deceived the people of Ghana for power, mr Nankpa l coconutnews24

One of the PNC communicators Mr. Jibril Nankpa told the president with no uncertain terms that he has mislead the people of Ghana for power, he said even though he comments him for the bold  initiatives the president is undertaken he has also deceived the people of Ghana on some of his policies he promised the citizen. Mr. Nankpa said, the president never promised free first year education, he said what he heard was that when the NPP comes to power everyone at the Senior high level will enjoy free education. But he said we are seeing a total different method of implementation where only first years are enjoying the free education departing from their promise during opposition.
Mr. Jibril was speaking on news review on Radford FM, he said this things yesterday. He was asked by the host about his views on the free education and he was very bold in saying what he said, he also said that what the president did was a discrimination to those in year two and three and therefore called on the president to allow the students in year two three to use the books for free education. He also added that, the president should use a vehicle to visit the districts in the region and should not venture to fly by air to Tumu and Gwollu. This was in reaction to the intention of the president to tour the three northern regions.

The plight of Jijen basic school, where is their future? l coconutnews24

"No wonder, the toad had said it all,  until you enter hot water, you will never know that, there exist different types of waters.
Lamented by the toad.
The story of Jijen Basic School is disheartening.
Established in 1983, I simply have no words to describe the situations and plight of future leaders in this School.
Just have a look at something little off,"
coconutnews24 picked this news from the Facebook wall of one staff from Jijen basic school, he laments about the situation and question the future of the young students sitting in the dilapidated structure. If you check his Facebook post, he uses pictures to illustrate his point. Here are some of the pictures he used .
Where us our government? Let's see them act on this news.

See what Gbenebisi pupils undergo to get formal education, who is responsible?

"Pictures they say speaks louder than words. See for yourself how these little ones go through formal education in the scorching sunlight. No comment. Somewhere in Upper #West/"
coconutnews24 saw this picture on Facebook about the condition of Gbenebisi pupil in the Sissala East district, from the picture you can see that the children are virtually sitting in the hot sun. There is no roof over their head, is only sticks they have used to for the structure.
Now who is responsible for providing this pupils with a classroom, is it the government, district assembly or the community it self. No matter the situation something must be done to rescue this pupils from this bad weather conditions, let our leaders take immediate actions to solve this problem.

25/09/2017

It has come to the sad notice of the National Executive Board 'NEB'of Ghana Nurse - Midwife Trainees' Association that, final year students of NAC and NAP who are yet to complete their mandatory training in November this year are being denied the opportunity to partake in the ongoing allowance registration processes.

GNMTA will like to send its serious displeasure to government and the various stakeholders for going contrary to the agreement reached at the forum held of which GNMTA was present.
We therefore see the current development very strange and hence call on government to honour the agreement reached at that meeting and direct all principals to as a matter of urgency include these trainee nurses in the allowance registration process so that they can also be beneficiaries as agreed upon at the trainee allowance policy implementation forum at the MOH on 9th August, 2017 which included the following; GNMTA, COHHETI, NAHSAG,NUGS, parents group and representatives of the ministry of health.
Furthermore,GNMTA humbly pray the high office of H.E. the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo to order those who are going contrary to what we believe is happening at his blind sight to do the 'right thing'.

We again admonish the affected NAC and NAP  to be calm whiles measures are taken to resolve the current Impasse.
GNMTA will continue to do all for the health of all.

Numbu comes home today after being evicted from Ghana most beautiful contest

Her exit was announced yesterday after the time of eviction came, yesterday was the 4th week of the contest and the starting point of eviction. Numbu the upper west representative was evicted together with one other contestant Ayeley. This Numbu lady's selection was criticized by many youth in the region because of the manner in which she got into the contest, since then most people in the region have spoke and write publicly against this Numbu lady.
Here we are today, she has been evicted from the whole contest for her poor performance, from day one of the competition the judges have always complain of her level of confidence and boldness in the whole process. They keep correcting her almost every week, she also sometimes luck the regional content on most happening in the region. She hardly speaks completely without breaking or missing content, this together with the comments from the judges may have been her  reason for eviction. For the voting segment, I think she was doing very great there because she even topped the voting chart before coming down to top five.
  Background
Before the whole competition started, there were concerns about how Numbu got into the contest. Some believed she was corrupted into the contest after the two ladies who went for audition were all dropped from that stage. Since then they have been on her neck, today she is out and when you check on social media it seemed most people are happy because of the way they are talking on Facebook.
