Member of Parliament admonishes Sissala Union to set targets I coconutnews24

  The member of Parliament for Sissala East Hon. Ridwan Abass Dauda today charged the executives for Sissala Union to set targets for the organization to see if they are making progress or retrogressing as a people, he made these revelations during a one year review meeting at the Sissala East District Assembly hall complex. He was speaking to chiefs, opinion leaders, branch executives and his constituents. For the year under review, he catalogued some of his achievements for the past year since being in office. He mentioned how he has supported the Ghana police service, prisons service and immigration with fuel and other logistics to work effectively to police the area. He also spoke about how he was able to secure scorlarship for a girl from his constituency as well as the support he gave to the educational sector, health sector, agriculture and other sectors.
   In his concluding statements, the hon. MP said the executives should try and let the Union set achievable target for themselves since this will help them to work towards achieving those goals in due course. Hon. Ridwan said if this is not done, it will be difficult for the Union to know weather they are making progress or not. Apart from this, it will also help them know which areas they need to put emphasis on.
He also called on the general public to support them to achieve their set targets because whatever goals are achieved will inure to the benefit of the constituency.
Background
Sissala Union is a body from the Sissala area, which comprises Sissala East, Sissala West, some parts of Funsi and some parts of Lambusie. They meet annually to review activities for the year as well as discuss issues affecting the Sissala people. All Sissala's from far and near come together to brainstorm on the way forward for the Sissala land.
