Open letter to TV3 GMB17 organizers l coconutnews24

  Have you seen the final competitors chosen from the various regions to participate in this years Ghana's Most Beautiful season 17? The names are finally out and most people, especially those from the upper west region and the Volta region are complaining about what happened to their favorite contestants. The names of the contestants representing the two regions have shocked many in the regions because the final two candidates for the who were originally supposed to represent their respective regions (upper west and Volta region) were  dropped and  new faces smuggled in. These new contestants  were not originally part of the auditioning process which was held some few weeks back. What is even more surprising is that no explanation whatsoever has yet been proffered to help people understand why that singular action was taken.
   Just some few days ago, I posted a picture of the beautiful ladies here hoping that one of them will go through the auditioning for the main event but now we are seeing that non of them will represent the region for this year's Ghana Most Beautiful. As I said earlier, no concrete reason was given for their rejection, Sonia and Marifa were the final shortlisted contestants for the upper west region.  They were put up on social media for the public to vote and eliminate one so that the other one will go through. However, TV3 is saying that that was just a joke because none of them was finally selected for the show. Now a new lady out of the blue, Shegufta, will be representing the upper west region.
    My dear Sister Marifa Baah, you are a great person in the region and you will always be  great. last year, almost around this same time, you suffered the same fate. I just want to let you know thar the God you serve will speak to you in great words. Dear sister, there is a saying that " when one door close another  opens " , so don't think that's the end of your career in life. You still have a lot of things to conquer in the days ahead, just be patient because God's time is the best. When your time comes no one can deny you.
    But to TV3 Ghana, what you have done this year is not fair to the people of the upper west region and the people of  Volta region. You are fast losing the confidence they have in you. You see that on social media most people from this regions are complaining and your outfit is not saying anything to set the records straight. So if you don't speak they will speculate and say all manner of thing about you, you better come out to make a statement on the ongoing debate as the reasons for your decision. You may Even have a genuine reason for what you did but now you are not talking how will the public know, and this days too you know what social media can do to the reputation you have build for many years as the first in news and best in entertainment. Respond or reject their calls ?

THE FIRST ORDINARY GENERAL ASSEMBLY MEETING OF THE SISSALA WEST DISTRICT. HELD ON 1st AUGUST, 2017 l coconutnews24

These was one of the best sessions of the assembly since it was full of industrious commitments and promises.
After the honourable DCE,s welcome address, he took his tense to share his pleasure and honour for the trust and confidence reposed on him by their 100% endorsement. He call on the house to maintain that mark of unity within the house and beyond to create room for Un interruptive development. With these, the district development would get beyond assumption.
The honourable DCE hon. Mohammed Bakor invited the honourable members to make constructive suggestions towards effective and efficient governance of the district.
Addressing the house, the honourable DCE highlights on the key developmental departments; Administration, Finance, Security, Agriculture, Education, Water and sanitation, Health, NGOS and Chief and Tendanas.
Hon.DCE after his familiarization tour to all these decentralized departments, challenges like; Human resource, procurement, physical planning, machines and equipments, water,infrastructure , feeder roads and security among others were identified.
Working very hard together with the office of the local government and the regional coordinating council to overturn these, he also opens his doors for developmental partners.
To the business loving partners, the SISSALA west district shares borders with Burkina Nafaso,a road linking to Hamily,one to Sankasi and three optional roads to the capitals Wa,Bolga, Tamale and for that matter Accra.
After looking at the very little in the hands of the assembly, the honourable DCE hon.Mohammed Bakor lamented on the possible delays of development. On these, he charged all members of the district to partake in IGF activities.
Man enough he is, Upon inheriting a huge liability of Gh¢1,268,663.79, he has high hopes for development.
On government Planting for foods and jobs project, he call for full involvement of hon members in the distribution and recovery of the balances.Notwithstanding the affects of the army warms and bad rains,the DCE is hopeful of success.
Recommending the heartfelt contributions of the honourable members, I believed no development partner would ever regret coming in.

Official Poster for 3rd edition of Sissala music awards released l coconutnews24

    The much anticipated award show for the Sissala land have released the official poster for the program, the poster talks about almost everything that will be happening to the climax. The poster was released some two days ago by one of the key event organizer in town, the poster has different colours to reflect the minds and purpose for the award night. The poster uses green and red background with some amount of yellow and black, the colours are more than beautiful.
    This the third consecutive time the organizers are organising this awards night for the Sissala land, the first edition was organized in 2015 which attracted many Sissala singers and music producers to bring out their fantastic works for recognition and award. In the first year it was won by Ras Ottokori follow by Amani ( Stanza) the following year, this year who wins the ultimate award for the night artist of the year. Am sure artists and music producers and promoters are putting up their talent to challenge for this awards in all the categories, the categories have already been out and artist are filling for them.
   The event organizers keep changing its outlook year by year, the first year was just the nominee jam and the main event, in the second year some other categories and activities were added to the previous year activities. This year another new thing has been added to it, this time round the organizers decided to add a sports show for fans even before the award night. In the new program this year on the 15th of August, the sports events will happen, 25th of August will be nominee jam and finally 31st of August as the main event. Speaking to one of the lead organizers, Mr. Shaibu Benin ( DJ slowfast ), he said this years event will be more crazy than last year's own. He said all fans should try and come support their various artist to win awards on the categories they are selected. The awards is organized by point one events in collaboration with fast prints. Who represent the upper west region for this years GMB27 - Sonia or Marifa l coconutnews24

   The race is on again as preparation are far advanced as to who represent who in which region, the auditioning is currently ongoing to find out who represent the upper west region. This Ghana's most beautiful is one of the biggest reality shows in Ghana that engage most people through out the season, this beauty pageant is organized by Tv3 with support from other private individuals and cooperate organizations in the country. For this year's competition, the organisers are currently shortlisting the competitors from the various regions to represent their respective regions they come from. Is more educating and engaging for the season, their moto is redefining beauty to promote national development.
    This year again as we speak the upper west region contestants have been shortlisted to two competitors, so Tv3 is currently still shortlisting them to see who finally represent the upper west region for this years Ghana most beautiful season 17. The shortlisted competitors are now, Sonia and our own Marifa Baah. At this stage, the organisers have put up the images of this two shortlisted competitors on social media to see who is more popular and best represent the region. For you to increase the chances of our own daughter Marifa to represent our region, kindly go to Tv3 social media handles and comment by writing her name Marifa at the comment box to increase her chances of representing the region. This same Marifa tried last season but could not go through the auditioning, but am very sure and confident that with our support and prayers she will better represent the upper west region.

Before going for this years auditioning, she has just completed her national service and awaiting a job. Marifa  is somebody well known by the Sissala community, she comes from Bujan in the Sissala East district, she is the daughter of Bujan chief by name Kuoro William Baah. She has a lot of confidence, very beautiful and above all she better represent us, because this not the first time Marifa is going for a beautiful pageant like this nature. If my memory set me right, Marifa in 2013 won a similar beauty pageant in Tumu called miss Tumu. So for her competence, no two ways about it.
  Please remember to write Marifa on Tv3 social media handles for her to win. We won it before in 2015, popular Baci won it. So we can!

Where is our joy again as a people! letter to Ruphia Kanton l coconutnews24.com

    We all now want to be big people sitting in big big offices with big chairs and air-conditioning once of course, now no body wants to work in the sun but will want Ghana to develop to compete with other countries in the world over. Can you imagine if all of us run to join politics, sit in big banks and big officers who will wash our cars? who will wash our cloths? who will be our house helps to protect our homes when we go out. Is due to all this concerns most people get confused as to what they want to do in life, you will have to carefully select and pick the job or profession you have been chosen for by the high God. When you be in the wrong place, you will work hard but you will not still get success because is not your chosen destiny from God.
    Is on this background, my only sister and friend from another mother have seek to identify where she has been placed by God. As we speak now, she is now at a place where most people may not think that's where she belongs today. But she is now a security officer at Ghana police service awaiting posting to a preferred region and district of her destination and where her services will be need by the state. I know many people will be wondering who am referring to, she is no any other person than some of as our sister, friends, and senior, Madam Ruphia Fuseini Kanton. She is now a police officer who just graduated from the training service three days again in the eastern region police training school, she was graduated with over thousands of of other officers.
    Ruphia Kanton before she joined the Ghana police service, she was a development  student at Wa UDS campus learning community development studies. She finished the certificate courses and was now running diploma and degree course on community development studies, she had not finish the degree course but had to cut the learning short to join the police service now, she could have finish the school and be a planner or some worker somewhere but now she is in the uniform.
We her friends and sisters are all happy for her, if you saw the number of friends and family members who had to travel to witness her graduation, you will understand what am talking of. They where too much.
    So don't sit in your small corner and think all is over yet, my brother, my sister, don't let that rejection from a job, that loss from a business cut your dreams short. Still move on and keep trying your day will one day come and you will be like Ruphia Kanton or in a better place than that. If you ask her, she may say that was not her original dream but today she finds her self there, so when your time come to you will get it on a smooth note. On half of me and the entire Sissala fraternity, we wish you Ruphia Fuseini Kanton well in your new profession and wish and also hope you make as proud as a people at home. We also pray that, all Sissala people looking for jobs may God grant as more blessing and more opportunities in life.

For this reason,#POINT_1_EVENTS has taken
